About the Program
Al-Qamar Academy's Sisters' Islamic Summer Seminar program is dedicated to instilling comprehensive Islamic disciplines in high school and college-going sisters. This program is designed to cater to the unique needs and challenges faced by young Muslim women, providing them with a well-rounded education in Islamic studies. With a central focus on womanhood, spirituality, and self-development, the seminar aims to empower young women by enhancing their understanding of Islamic principles and how they apply to their daily lives.
Curriculum
The program covers a broad spectrum of subjects, including Qur'anic studies with tajwīd, the Seerah of the Prophets, Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), and Ahadith (prophetic narrations). It also delves into the practical aspects of living a fulfilling Islamic life, addressing topics such as personal development, mental health, and the role of women in society.
In addition to the academic curriculum, the seminar fosters a supportive and nurturing environment where participants can develop strong bonds with their peers, share experiences, and learn from one another.
